Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using our website or placing an order.

United Kingdom Last updated: March 2026

1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to AMOLIH (“we,” “us,” “our”), a fine jewellery brand.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at www.amolih.com (the “Site”), including all purchases of Products shipped to destinations within the United Kingdom. By accessing or using the Site, placing an order, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Shipping and Returns Policies, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site, and your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. You must be 18 years of age or older to use this Site or place an order.

These Terms are provided to you in English. In the event of any conflict between an English-language version and any translation, the English-language version shall prevail.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Site.

2. Definitions

"Customer" or "You" means any person who accesses or uses the Site from the United Kingdom, registers an account, or places an order for Products to be delivered to a UK address.

"Products" means all jewellery items, including gold, silver, gemstone, and custom-made jewellery, gift cards, and any related accessories listed for sale on the Site.

"Order" means a request placed by You through the Site to purchase one or more Products, subject to confirmation by AMOLIH.

"Custom Order" means any Product that is personalised, engraved, made-to-order, or designed specifically to Your specifications through our consultation or custom design service.

"Natural Gemstone" means any gemstone of natural, earth-mined origin including but not limited to diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and semi-precious stones.

"Cooling-Off Period" means the 14-day period after delivery during which you have the statutory right to cancel your Order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

3. Product Representations, Images & Natural Gemstone Acknowledgement

3.1 Website Images & Visual Representations

All photographs, images, videos, and visual representations of Products displayed on the Site are provided for illustrative and reference purposes only. While AMOLIH makes every reasonable effort to display Products as accurately as possible, the actual appearance of any Product may differ from its representation on the Site due to:

Variations in device screen calibration, colour rendering, and display resolution

Differences in ambient lighting conditions at the time of photography

Post-processing and colour correction applied to product photography

The inherent optical properties of precious metals and gemstones under different lighting conditions

Such variations in appearance between a Site image and the delivered Product do not constitute a defect, misrepresentation, or grounds for return under these Terms, unless the Product materially fails to conform to its written product description. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

3.2 Natural Gemstone Uniqueness — Important Acknowledgement

AMOLIH works extensively with natural, earth-mined gemstones. By visiting this Site, browsing Products, or placing an Order for any jewellery incorporating natural gemstones, you expressly acknowledge and agree to the following:

No two natural gemstones are identical. Each natural gemstone is a product of geological processes spanning millions of years, and will exhibit its own unique characteristics including, but not limited to, colour variation, tone, saturation, clarity, inclusions, surface characteristics, and cut nuance.

The gemstone(s) in the Product you receive may differ in appearance from the gemstone(s) depicted in Site photography. The images on the Site are representative examples of the type, quality grade, and general appearance of the gemstone used, and are not a representation of the exact stone you will receive.

Natural gemstones of the same variety, quality grade, and carat weight may exhibit a range of appearance that is entirely consistent with their natural origin. This is not a defect.

Minor variations in gemstone weight, dimensions, shape, and colour from stated specifications are inherent to handcrafted natural gemstone jewellery and are within accepted industry tolerances.

Handcrafted metal settings may exhibit minor surface variations, tool marks, or dimensional differences that are characteristic of artisanal production and are not defects.

You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above before completing any purchase. This acknowledgement does not affect your statutory right to receive goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described, as provided under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If you have specific requirements regarding a gemstone’s appearance, colour tone, or characteristics, we encourage you to contact our team at help@amolih.com prior to placing your Order.

3.3 Gemstone Treatment Disclosure

AMOLIH discloses that gemstones used in our Products may have undergone standard industry treatments to enhance their appearance, colour, or durability, including but not limited to heat treatment, filling, or coating. Such treatments are standard industry practice and are considered permanent or stable unless otherwise disclosed. This disclosure is made in accordance with industry best practice guidelines.

All gold jewellery sold by AMOLIH is hallmarked by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in accordance with Indian hallmarking standards. Each Product is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity detailing its purity, weight, and specifications. A fee of GBP £200 will be charged for the replacement of any lost or unreturned authenticity certificate.

3.4 Conflict-Free Diamonds

AMOLIH sources diamonds exclusively from suppliers compliant with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme. We do not knowingly purchase or sell conflict diamonds.

4. Account Registration

To place an Order, you may be required to create an account on the Site. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

AMOLIH reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at its sole discretion if any information provided is found to be false, inaccurate, or in violation of these Terms, or if we detect suspicious activity that may indicate fraud.

5. Products, Pricing & Payment

5.1 Pricing & VAT

Prices on the Site for UK customers are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP). Displayed prices are inclusive of UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable rate. AMOLIH is responsible for collecting and remitting VAT on orders shipped to the United Kingdom.

For consignments valued at or below £135, AMOLIH collects VAT at the point of sale and remits it directly to HMRC, meaning no additional VAT charges will be levied upon delivery. For consignments valued above £135, customs duty and import VAT may be assessed by HMRC and collected by the courier at the time of delivery. [ADJUST THIS BASED ON YOUR DDP vs. DAP APPROACH — update before going live].

Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in gold, silver, diamond, and gemstone markets and exchange rates. The price applicable to your Order is the price displayed at the time you complete your purchase.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods for UK orders:

Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express

Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard

PayPal

Apple Pay / Google Pay

Shop Pay / Shopify Payments

All payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. Transactions will be charged in GBP. Your bank or card issuer may apply additional fees; AMOLIH accepts no liability for any such fees.

5.3 Pricing Errors

In the event a Product’s listed price is lower than its actual price due to a typographical or system error, AMOLIH reserves the right to either contact you for further instructions before fulfilling the Order or to cancel the Order and notify you of the cancellation. You will not be charged for cancelled Orders. This is without prejudice to your statutory rights.

6. Comparison Purchasing & Abuse of Service Policy

AMOLIH designs and handcrafts jewellery individually to order. In order to protect the integrity of our production process and ensure fair access to our services for all customers, the following policies apply:

6.1 No Comparison Purchasing

The purchase of multiple Products for the purpose of comparison — including the same or similar designs in different gemstone grades, carat weights, metal types, ring sizes, or settings — is not permitted. AMOLIH reserves the right to cancel Orders that appear to include multiple items purchased for comparison purposes, and to refund the applicable amounts to the original payment method.

If you are uncertain about a particular Product, we encourage you to contact our design consultants at help@amolih.com or via WhatsApp before placing your Order. Our team is happy to assist you in making an informed decision.

6.2 Non-Commercial Use

The Site and its contents are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may not purchase Products for the purpose of resale, commercial distribution, or use in connection with any commercial activity without prior written consent from AMOLIH.

6.3 Abuse of Service

AMOLIH reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Site and to cancel or refuse Orders where it reasonably suspects any of the following:

Fraudulent, deceptive, or bad faith ordering conduct

Repeated returns or exchanges that appear to be beyond the scope of legitimate customer use

Use of the Site or its services in a manner that disrupts or harms AMOLIH’s operations or other customers

Violation of any provision of these Terms

Abuse of promotional offers, discount codes, or loyalty programmes

Such actions may be taken without prior notice. In cases of suspected fraud, AMOLIH reserves the right to report the activity to relevant UK authorities, including Action Fraud.

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your Order within 14 days of receiving the Product without giving any reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This right is in addition to AMOLIH’s own return policy.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g., by email to help@amolih.com) before the Cooling-Off Period expires. You may use the cancellation form below, but it is not obligatory.

Products that have been worn, altered, resized, or damaged after delivery

Gift cards and digital vouchers

Products returned without original certificates, tags, and packaging

8.3 AMOLIH Return Policy (Beyond Statutory Rights)

AMOLIH offers a 15 day return and exchange policy from the date of delivery for eligible Products. To be eligible, the Product must be in its original, unworn condition with all original tags, certificates, packaging, and documentation intact.

All returns must include the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package. For security, please do not write “AMOLIH” or “jewellery” on the outside of the return package.

8.5 Refund Processing

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned Product, your refund will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect, damage, or error on AMOLIH’s part, or you are exercising your statutory right to cancel within the Cooling-Off Period.

9. Statutory Rights Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that cannot be excluded or limited by these Terms. These include the right to receive goods that are:

Of satisfactory quality — meeting the standard a reasonable person would consider satisfactory given the description, price, and all other relevant circumstances

Fit for purpose — suitable for the purpose for which goods of that kind are commonly supplied, and any specific purpose you made known to AMOLIH before purchase

As described — conforming to any description given by AMOLIH on the Site or in any pre-contract communications

If a Product does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. For defective goods within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund (the “short-term right to reject”). After 30 days, you are entitled to a repair or replacement in the first instance, or a refund if repair or replacement is not possible or is not carried out within a reasonable time. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer.

10. Custom Orders & Design Collaboration

By approving a custom design and making payment, you acknowledge that Custom Orders are crafted specifically to your specifications and are expressly exempt from the statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, as they are goods made to the consumer’s specifications. Custom Orders are accordingly non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable once production has commenced, subject to your statutory rights for defective goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
